Genuine HP Adapter
Could you believe my surprise when I got this, and it was a Genuine HP charger? It works and fits just like a genuine HP. I haven’t tested the voltage like some more enterprising folks would do, but I plugged it in, and my laptops didn’t yell about the voltage, and they also didn’t blow up. Steal of a deal if you ask me. And, of course, it works for any USB-C charging computer that can accept at least 65W, so no worries about it working for your Acer or Dell. I have a few of these around the house for my various laptop-style devices, and it works fine to charge them all.

Not generic
At this price I thought this was a generic charger, but it’s HP. Very satisfied.

Worked great
I used this for a HP ProBook 640 G8 and it worked very well even though a docking station.

Great replacement 65w USB C laptop Charger
I used this charger on my surface pro 7 which charges through either a proprietary charger, that works well as you would imagine, or you can use the USB C port to charge it. I use the surface to edit my podcasts, so I’m on it a lot and I have it set to max performance, so it eats the battery pretty quick and I wanted an extra charger to have one in there bedroom and one in the living room, so I’m not constantly lugging cables around. I’ve tried various solutions from a 65w power brick, to a pd charging brick, with mixed results on everything I’ve tried and always with a slower charge then the proprietary cable. This charger however finally solved the issue for me. I use it when the battery is near dead and then plug it in and keep editing while it charges and even with continued use it charges extremely fast. I can’t say for sure but it seems like it charges faster than the proprietary cable, but that may just be being excited that I finally found a charging solution that works for this laptop. The unit itself is pretty small, and has a USB C cable coming out of it at kind of a weird angle. The connection of the USB C cable wiggles around but doesn’t seem like it can be removed. I’m hesitant to pull on it too much for fear of breaking it. The cable itself is a nice braided cable with decent, not great, length. It seems like it’s solid quality, though obviously only time will really tell with that. The power brick itself also has a USB A port on it though, so you can connect your own cable to it, so you can use it to charge things other than USB C or as a replacement for the built in cable in event of it failing in theory. I can’t speak to the effectiveness of it on things that charge with anything other than USB C because I don’t use apple products at all, so no lightning cables and most everything I have at this point is on the USB C standard. All in all I’m very happy with this product. I was a little worried that it wouldn’t have the wattage to charge the laptop, pretty alone charge quickly while I worked, but I was pleasantly surprised. The only real downsides I could see is the cable length. From the power outlet to the C connector your only getting about 6 feet of cable. So if you need a longer cable than you’ll have to invest in a longer aftermarket cable to put in the port on the power brick. The length suits my purposes though, luckily. The other one being it’s USB only, so if your laptop uses a barrel jack, this likely isn’t going to work unless there is a USB A to barrel jack cable that I’m not aware of. I have an MSI katana gaming laptop that has a barrel jack for power and I was not able to use this with it. I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be able to adequately power that computer anyway though as it is a big old beast and this charger looks like it was designed more for a Chromebook/surface/MacBook style smaller computer.I was sent this through Amazon Vine for the purpose of review, but these are my honest opinions. I would recommend this to someone looking for a replacement 65w USB power source for their laptop.
